Subsequent to this e-mail, I received a call from Peter from your Meadowdale mall branch, who promised to find me the car I was looking for. I duly agreed, thinking “sure … seeing is believing”, but, true to form, Peter called me every week to tell me he hadn’t forgotten about me and was still on the lookout.
Dale then later also called me, advising me that they’d found a great deal – exactly what I was looking for. I asked her to setup the test drive, and that I would probably take it.
That was on 21st April, just before the long Easter weekend. On the Saturday, I received another call – this time from Peter – he had good news, they found me the exact same car at R30000.00 cheaper! He went on to tell me he had inspected the car himself, and that it was in mint condition, exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for my mom!
Well, needless to say, I was very excited, but still somewhat apprehensive. I asked them to setup a test drive with this vehicle. Dale called me back within minutes telling me it belonged to an old lady, and her son in law would have to bring it for the test drive, and he could only do that on 5 May 2011 – to which I agreed.
Everything went according to plan, we met at the Kempton Park offices, I test drove the vehicle, and asked Dale to proceed with the transaction.
It is now 02:15 on the 13 May 2011, and I’ve just taken possession of the vehicle. There was no fuss, no hassle, no problems.
Peter was right. The car is perfect for my mom, exactly what I was looking for. He understood my needs perfectly and stayed true to his word.
Now that’s my idea of service.
It was certainly a pleasure doing business with AA Autobay, and I would certainly recommend your enterprise to anyone who asks.
In hindsight – I am glad I sent my initial mail, as it turned the disastrous first impression I had of your corporation, into a well organized, professional, friendly and efficient one.
To Dale and Peter, thank you for all your assistance, you are both stars :), my mom is going to be ecstatic!
